Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was really well-located, just a 5-minute stroll from the main street of Calle Santander, making it peaceful at night yet easy to reach everything quickly. The rooms were roomy and comfy, even though they seemed a bit worn for the price. The service was excellent, with staff going out of their way to assist us, although we noticed occasional price variations. The dining, although tasty, was not covered in the rate and felt a bit overpriced for a basic buffet. The hotel's facilities offered a mix of modern and traditional touches, including an elevator and ramps for accessibility.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms definitely need some updating, but the panoramic views of the lake and volcanoes from the balcony were stunning. However, the pool was way too cold during my stay for the time of the year.
I was thrilled with the stunning panoramic views of the lake and volcanoes from the balcony, both at sunrise and sunset. However, the price was on the higher side compared to other options in Guatemala, and the room felt a bit basic for a 5-star hotel.
